We read Night by Elie Weisel earlier this year in English class, and my teacher said we can't use it.
I was considering reading The Faith Club, by Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, and Priscilla Warner, which is about 3 women (one Christian, one Jew, and one Muslim) and their search for understanding the connections between the 3 faiths.
That's the only book that looks semi-interesting that I found on Barnes and Noble's website earlier.
Oh, and btw, I have to be able to learn at least 5 facts about the culture from reading the book...if I can't pick 5 things out from the book, then I have to research the culture.
I need to pick a book by Thursday, April 30th for approval.
If anyone knows of any good books, fiction or nonfiction, please let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it.

To love and be loved, to the point of madness
The sweet and burning kiss is IMITATION
Sences numbing, conscious fading away
The overflowing emotions and reality
Paint it all over in black
